I started this petition after a recent trip to Poplar River, Manitoba (A First Nations reserve). When I was there, I was surprised about the number of youth that didn't know about their own culture, a culture that I find is being destroyed by the many exterior influences like the media. My goal is to raise 250 signatures so that we can pressure the government into adding more aboriginal education about their culture and help aboriginal youth that find themselves in a bit of a "culture shock".
