By signing this petition I agree with the following statements:
I am a member of the Austin Board of Realtors. I am signing this petition because I agree the Austin Board of Realtors and/or ACTRIS committee needs to look at changes to our MLS rules and policies. I would encourage the Board to discuss the following:
1. Any listing that is syndicated to other websites through IDX, VOW, etc. should immediately and clearly show the listing agent and listing office. I do not like the current policy that simply has the language “listing courtesy of XYZ Realty”. I believe the public needs to clearly understand who is the listing agent on every property.
2. Allow agents to “watermark” photos with information limited to listing agent’s name and company name.
3. Allow agents to upload "branded tours" when listings are syndicated to other sites.
Further, I would like to ask that ABoR take the following into consideration when looking at our MLS systems: When I put a listing in MLS I want to have a menu of choices to pick where my listing goes. I do NOT want an “all or none” internet option. I want to choose if my listing goes individually to each site like austinhomesearch.com, realtor.com, trulia.com, zillow.com, IDX, etc.

Total agreement. We need to be able to choose where our listings go. All or nothing is just ridiculous in this market.
Agreed 100%. tired of not having control over my own marketing materials.
Please make these changes. It will make things so much clearer for the buyers looking online.
Listing courtesy of should not be the only thing showing. I put in the hours I deserve the credit.
The current setup is bad for business. Let us watermark our own photos. We work hard for these listings.
