in the 13th paragraph of section 12814.6 CVC, (paragraph is debatable of length) it states that as a minor who recently (within 12 months) got his license, you may not drive passengers under age 20. This law has proven to be useless, (not including paragraph 12) given the fact that all people who have their license had to have completed a driving test AFTER six months [at least] of driving. When you drive with an adult for the first week or two, you learn how to drive. After six months, and proving you can drive by completing a test, I'm sure you can drive with people in the car. People say all the time that "its distracting." well, no, its not. I can't name one person who got in an accident because his buddy messed with the music, or his buddy told him to look here for a second. It is a useless law (I use useless because maybe 1 out of every ten people follow it, and that's a stretch even) that shouldn't even have been made.
