As most Canadians have read in the news lately, there is a serious spending scandal happening in the Canadian Senate. How can Canadian's have confidence in our elected officials, if they are appointing individuals to be in the Senate who would steal from their fellow citizens. I would like to send this petition to my member of parliament in hopes that it can get the ball rolling on getting rid of the out of date Senate. As a Canadian I feel that it is no longer needed and only those elected by Canadians should be making decisions about this great country of ours.
