Dear Ableton, This month you have come out with an amazing promotional sale of Ableton suite and max for $699. This is truly a great deal! I on the other hand have been a loyal customer since live 7. I spent hundreds of dollars on live 7 and then more to upgrade to live 8. The upgrade to the suite version and max was too expensive for my budget so I remained with the regular version. Having seen the marketing ad I was excited. If this is the price for new users there must be some great deal for loyal customers. Apparently I was wrong. In order to have the equivalent package I must spend over $400 to upgrade to the suite version and than another $150 to get max for live. After spending close to $1000 dollars as a live customer in the past two years I find this insulting. I wish to remain an Ableton user but cannot fathom why you would treat your customers in such a humiliating way. Please create an equivalent deal which rewards your loyal customers instead of encouraging them to look for alternate solutions. Yours truly Jonathan Oron A loyal customer
