Comments: Very sad that a channel with "Family" in their name would so blatantly perpetuate those stereotypes, and promote irresponsible recreational consumption habits. Should be canceled now.

Comments: It seems improbable to me that the wirters of this show even researched a modicum of what Greek life is about. If they had, they would recognize the myriad of positives in the community which appear in the sneak peak to be swallowed whole by cheap shot cliche writing. Granted that the negatives do exist, it seems only fair that some attention should be paid to both sides of the community.

Comments: It is absurd that they even be allowed to attempt this. Not only does it falsely depict a goup of students, but it blatantly shows drinking, sex, and college life on a network with "family" in the title.

Comments: This show will be as popular as the MTV "Sorority Life" show a few years ago. A little buzz will be created originally, but then the hype will fade and the show will be canceled as material for the actors runs out.

Comments: I am on a sorority and this Greek show does not portray what sorority life really is. This is actually a disgrace to greek life not only sororities but also fraternities.

Comments: I'm very, very frustrated by this show and it's purpose. I have never once been around a female friend who would promote a girl (or guy, for that matter) to date someone who clearly betrayed her. I have never seen a person in my Greek community get hazed by forcing a man to go to a bar or party dressed up as a woman. I never considered joining a house simply because of the fact that I could get great hook-ups and tons of booze. All of the fraternity parties at my campus are checked at least once during the party's duration by the community's governing council. No sorority is aloud to have alchohol at their residence what-so-ever. Every fraternity and sorority participates in philanthropic events of other chapters as well as sponsors one of their own. Members of the Greek community on my campus and every other one are the leaders of their student body in one way or another, have the top grades among undergraduate students, and develop strong, long lasting friendships. Instead of feeling like I'm throwing my money to a landlord or huge university organization, I know my money is going to an organization that promotes the positive development of others. Wouldn't it be a sheer shock if parents and incoming college, among any other viewer, would see drinking scenes and risky behavior that occurs in dormatories, football stadium parking lots, and random houses or apartments off campus. Aside from the police, there is no regulatory body, and rarely a concerned group of friends, who would be accountable for what goes on at these places.

Comments: As an Alpha Phi at RPI I would like to say that some of the stereotypes of greek life are unfair and the positive qualities such as community service, leadership, academics and sisterhood. At my school, Rensselaer, the average Greek GPA is higher than the average of the whole student body.

Comments: Even after watching the previews alone, I was appalled that this show is being aired. Greeks are negatively stereotyped enough in Hollywood, and though some of the stereotypes may resonate with some chapters, many campuses are re-structuring their greek systems to avoid bad situations and bad press. The fact is, for many of us, greek life is a very beneficial and important part of the college experience, and with continued negativity such as shows like this, our membership will decline. Many of us have put in a lot of time and effort to dispel myths about greek life, only to have it thrown out the window by false and distasteful shows such as this one.

Comments: I feel its unbelievable how every portrayal of Greeks and Greek life points to drinking, sex and bad behavior. This show goes completely against every single one of us who worked our way through college in a fraternity, has a great job and never once acted like that. TAKE IT OFF THE AIR!

Comments: After watching this preview and knowing a lot of people in the Greek scene in college, it shows that none of the writers were in any kind of house in college; at least not in this generation. This show is like Degrassi:TNG but everyones in college. And Degrassi is a really good show. With good acting.

Comments: I find this show very offensive because of the terrible way they portray the greek students. I am a greek at my school and I do not act like this in any way. Im in the top 10% of my college of education and yet I am in a greek organization. I would not be surprised if a lawsuit is brought on by this because nowadays you can sue for anything and greek headquarters have a lot of money to protect their name. Also they do not even pronounce Tau right.

Comments: I am all for a TV show about the lives of members of the Greek community, but not one that perpetuates negative stereotypes such as promiscuity, alcohol abuse, and lowered morals. I am not saying these things do not happen among Greeks, but expand your view a bit and you will see these are rampant among many collegiate individuals.
