Abandoned buildings and lots have become more frequent in Chicago Southside Communities. There are many abandoned building that are accessible, shabby looking, and creates bad tones for many blocks in Chicago neighborhoods.  There are lots with debris ranging form drug paraphernelia, to abandoned furniture and trash. To combat this issue we must first target the land owners. I plan to use this petition to establish a better approach to these abandoned building and lots; such as, either tearing them down and replacing them with community outereach centers or making sure that they are properly maintained. By signing this petition you will guarantee this change, and also bring forth positive atmospheres in Chicago Southside neighborhoods.
