The world needs your help. In 2001, over 80 million people flew American Airlines. This number has no doubt increased, although not publicly available. Yet, on a flight last week, an AA Flight Attendant laughed when asked if they recycled any of the cans or newspapers passengers went through in flight. I have emailed AA.com, only to receive a response about what they do for catering operations, not flights. The world needs companies like American Airlines to lead. And it starts with the easy things, like recycling on flights. This is going to take a lot more than one person to get them to re-think their approach. I urge you to please sign this petition, and when you can, to also email AA.com customer relations. I\'ll send this link to American Airlines on May 1, 2007. (and hope there are a bunch of people who are able to find this and ask them to look into their policy) Thanks for reading.
