Name: Julie Burgo on May 14, 2010What state are you from?: PennsylvaniaComments: I refuse to shop at malls because of the contaminated air from the colognes your store and a few others pollute the indoor air with. Show us you care about your workers and your customers by committing to stop this unnecessary and harmful "sales tactic" immediately. When this happens make the announcement so myself and others like me, can return to the stores and enjoy shopping again. Sincerely, Julie BurgoFlag

I don't even shop there anymore, unfortunately. Please stop! Let the guys put too much on, but the stores shouldn't do it, as well!Flag

The odor gives me headaches and makes the back of my throat close up. It is not only in front of your store but wafts in front of several stores on either side of your store. Please stop it. NOW!!!Flag

Name: Catherine on May 18, 2010What state are you from?: CaliforniaComments: I have two teenage daughters who like your clothes but they hate the odor in your store. I am allergic to such strong fragrances so I really dislike shopping with them at Abercrombie. One of my daughters wrote an paper for her English class on how horrible it is. Please be considerate to all your customers and realize that many people are either allergic or just plain repulsed by such strong perfume. My girls cannot wear new clothes they buy from your stores until they have been thoroughly washed. We love your clothes so please make a change!!! Thank you.Flag

Name: Cindy Ganjtomari on May 18, 2010What state are you from?: CaliforniaComments: My daughter and I went into a store in a mall in Rocklin Ca.in Feb 2010. We do not wear perfume and get headaches easily. We walked in so my daughter could look around and I had to leave after about 30 seconds because it effects me so severly. I asked the sales girl immediately what was up with the perfume and she said oh it is just sprayed in automatically. Doesn't it give you a headache? She said no you get used to it. I left immediately and had a headache for several hours of the day after that. Unbelievable that the employees have to put up with it. Did they know that they should not be allergic to perfume to get the job there.? Please get rid of the spray or we will not be back,.Flag

I contacted the management of Westfield Center, not knowing about Teens Turning Green, requesting that A&F cease their practice of pumping noxious fumes into the common space of Westfield Center, subjecting me as a shopper to adverse physical effects such as headache, closed throat and nausea. Although I registered multiple complaints with Westfield Center about this subject, little or nothing has been done to curtail A&F's cavalier and environmentally irresponsible conduct. Given the new evidence uncovered regarding the product to which they are subjecting unsuspecting members of the public against their wishes, I believe there are sufficient grounds for a lawsuit. I hope that A&F will acknowledge and end their socially and environmentally irresponsible practices before it comes to this.Flag
