| 202 | Patricia Brown | Dear Mr. McGuinty: The idea of polluting the entire watershed between the Sharbot Lake area and my home area of Westport all the way to Ottawa (your home area) is such a destructive plan, and one which will clearly lose my vote in the next election. |
| 203 | Pamela Cornell | It's outrageous that mining companies can invade private property to get at what's under the ground. The laws allowing this practice should be struck down immediately. |
| 204 | Susan Wilcox | |
| 205 | Sam Lanfranco | It is about time for the Ontario nuclear industry to come out of the back room and carry on its affairs in full view of the public, and not use the governments as its Trojan Horse to run roughshod over the people of Ontario, including -in this case- the first nations peoples. If any other sector behaved the way the nuclear industry behaves most of their corporate leaders would be behind bars. What makes the nuclear industry a sacred cow (horse)? |

| 211 | Marie Lloyd | I am repelled by our provincial government's conduct .Mr. McGuinty's utter failure to respond to a looming First Nations crisis- with an environmental calamity in its wake-is stunning. Has Mr. McGuinty ever heard of Ipperwash? Of uranium tailings?
Mr. McGuinty's utter failure to act on this First Nations issue, with a consequent environmental calamity in its wake. Has Mr. McGuinty ever heard of Ipperwash? Of uranium tailings? |

| 217 | Angela Osborn-Gray | Personally I have sent two letters to your office with no reply. This treatment is unacceptable to the public that voted for you in the election!!!!! We are a proud and peaceful people who respect and care about our land that you intend to destroy with the authorization of this mining. So enjoy your job because next election I strongly doubt that you will be re-elected to represent Ontario. The First Nation people of this country have been ignored and refused our rights to the land that were taken from us. First Nations people account for a large population base and have voting rights and we will ensure that all of the votes from the First Nations people in Ontario will not be for your campaign. |

| 223 | Deborah Crosby | I am appalled at the gall of the Government in allowing this to proceed. |
| 224 | Maria Kerby | As a former farmer, I fully support the Ardoch First Nation and their fight to protect the land. Not only is this a native land claim issue, but the Mining Act MUST be changed to give landowners the mineral rights on their land. This is an issue both natives and settlers are in agreement on and action by the government is needed before this escalates.
The time to act like a leader has arrived Mr. McGuinty. |

| 226 | Dr. Ross Hoffman | Mr. McGuinty,
I held out hope that things would change for Aboriginal people's land claims in Ontario after the report on the Ipperwash Inquiry was released. |
| 227 | Melisa Cormier | |
| 228 | Cynthia Levine-Rasky | |
| 229 | Ed Barbeau | The provincial government was irresponsible to allow exploration on the site while there was a native land claim outstanding. Accordingly, it has to play a more active role in bringing it to a conclusion and in avoiding vindictive actions. |
| 230 | Mary Myers | Do what's right Mr. McGuinty.

| 242 | Jeffrey Welsh | The Province of Ontario needs to devise procedures that will ensure that its department -- including MNR -- abide by the Supreme Court of Canada's requirement that First Nations be consulted about any development that may affect either their land, disputed land, or Aboriginal rights. Jailing an Algonquin university professor is not an appropriate response when the Province of Ontario is in violation of a Supreme Court dictum. |
