My name is Fernando Orozco Barrera. I am currently before the immigration and refugee board on an application to continue to reside, due to an ongoing deportation order. In approximately mid 2008 the Immigration and refugee board addressed me to seek deportation, due to the fact that I was dealing with legal ramifications. I have since dealt with all and any legal ramifications. Currently I have achieved my grade 12 diploma and completed a CTT (Construction Technology Course). This course was funded by The Immigration and Refugee board. I am an active volunteer in the community and at my present congregation Royal View Church. I have completed a course funded by my congregation namely (ALPHA), which is an introductory course to the basis of Christianity. Since the passing of my mother at age 21 I have taken full caregiver role of my 2 younger sisters. I have been a permanent resident in Canada since approximately age 7. I have no support system, family or friends in Mexico. I am currently in the process of filing a Pre-Removal risk assessment due to the fact that I am in fear for my life in my Country of origin (Mexico). I currently have enough Capital to start my own business. This is very dependent on my immigration status ahead. My plan of action will create new employment in our community that is suffering high un-employment status. It will also create a stable future for my younger siblings and absorb any Educational costs necessary for their College/University in the near future. My Fiancée and I are also planning to start a new family which is also dependent on my immigration status. I appreciate your time and consideration in hearing my plea for petition.
