We the undersigned are severely disturbed by the Van's Warped Tour Booking Staff's decision to sign Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) and T. Mills to the 2012 Warped Tour Line-up. Warped tour throughout the decades has been a continuous pinnacle in the music community, promoting upcoming bands from a multitude of genres where many people from different walks of life can come and enjoy their favorite musicians. However, due to the addition of these two musical acts, we feel as though the integrity of this tour is being undermined for the following reasons A) both artists feature lewd lyrics that promote but are not limited to the following: The objectification of women, Homophobia, Excessive drug use and common indecency. B) The crowd drawn by these artists will attract unfavorable deviant behavior such as but not limited to: Violence, drug use, and sexual misconduct. (Mind you, every year thousands of under-aged children attend this event) C) They violate the the musical integrity of Warped Tour. Van's Warped Tour is about musicians with musical talent. Rap music is produced behind a computer screen, not live, and these "artists" produce lewd, unbecoming lyrics with little actual talent (see A above) D) The vast majority of continuous concert goers object to these acts' presence as an entirety. Thusly, we the undersigned urge those whom may be concerned at Van's Warped Tour to Remove Machine Gun Kelly And T. Mills From The 2012 Warped Tour Line-up. Thank you.
