1.) There are incarcerated fathers who are dedicated and devoted to reconciliation with society in that their objective is to make amends to whom they have affected.Which includes victims, their own children, their families, and the communities from which they hail from. 2.) These particular fathers in general are those with(numbered) prison sentences that suggest these men will be elgible to be released back into society eventually anyhow. 3.)We have firm belief that with a system in place, such as programs geared towards fathering and parenting in association with those programs offered inside institutions which are aimed towards getting these men to understand the effect of which their crimes had on victims and society, for these men to be remorseful and make amends through efforts of restorative means of justice by giving back, that qualified fathers will be rehabilitated and more suitable to be productive upon their release. 4.)In-as-much we make a humble request that a system which will be proposed to Missouri legislation, Mo.Dept.of Corrections,Mo.Board of Probation and Parole will allow for fathers who qualify for a partially-suspended term of prison sentence to be released on an exceptional term of release, be supported by those individuals who believe its imperative for chilren to have their fathers in their lives as productive, supportive, reconciled, and proven to be capable of being decent human beings. 5.)To show your support we pray that any and all individuals who are in favor of the release of the above-mentioned fathers who fit the criteria to please sign this petition.
