As stated earlier, this petition is to protect, as much as possible, our soldiers who fight overseas. Most vehicles that enter the combat-ridden countries like Iraq are not equipt with appropriate armor capable of deterring injury or death. The commanding generals over in these zones made it a set rule that these unarmored vehicles are not to go outside the base (although he permits it by ignoring their own rules for the sake of a "mission"). Our soldiers are not expendable. In lieu of that, I ask you to sign this petition and start others in every state to implement state or national funding for this cause. We do not need to lose any soldier if the deterrance is simple. This petition is for OHIO ONLY, but as stated earlier...start one for every state so this urge will not be on deafened ears. Thank you. |
