PRAYER FOR PEACE
People all over are praying
PEACE we are all wanting
Are the world leaders listening?
While in their palaces sitting?
The average person’s soul is moaning
Why others are hearts with hatred filling
How is one Human different from the other?
Do we not all have a mother and a father?
All of our great religious leaders
Were truly peaceful preachers
Why in Gods name we killing
Others who look different hating
When will leaders in their bunkers
Or their glass built gilded towers
Go to the front where bullets are whizzing
Young men and women are dying
Why is there amongst out youth so much violence?
When did man kind lose its precious balance?
When did we be come so ferocious?
Among the animals the most ruthless and vicious
Let us ordinary people stand and be united
We do not want our world to come to an end
We want it to start to slowly mend
LEADERS are you listening at your end?
Why does greed and a pocket full of money
Lead to so much pain and misery
Hatred resent and so much fury
What is happening to all of society?
Let all our New Years resolution be
PEACE LOVE AND HARMOMY
LET US ALL PRAY FROM OUR HEARTS
THAT THIS ANGRY BURNING FIRE DEPARTS
