| 151 | Jonathan Coleman | Do not remove cycling lanes please. This would be counterproductive and would make Brisbanites fat! |
| 152 | Paul Guarrera | I was stunned to hear of this move by Council, especially after they spruiked their massive cycling network plan at the last election!! |

| 155 | Beverley Marshall | This is a ridiculous proposal, and another way of making life difficult for cyclists. |

| 162 | Anonymous | we need to maintain and retain all bike ways in Brisbane especially, more vehicles on the road are making it a difficult and dangerous place to cycle. |
| 163 | Carol Burns | The healthy future of Brisbane lies in safe cycling. Every road upgrade should include an on-road designated bike lane, preferably curbed (not an unsafe share path with pedestrians.).The lack of commitment to extensive integrated bike routes is lamentable. |
| 164 | Helen Jones | Please do not reverse the introduction of cycling infrastructure it is important to us as a community and to our planet. |
| 165 | Mary Calder | I use this route for recreational cycling only.
I could not agree more with points 1-3. |
| 166 | Chris Carlyon | the implementation of the bikes lanes on waminda street greatly improved the safety of cyclist. Removing them would again make the ride along waminda street a nightmare. |
| 167 | Justin Fenton | Please encourage people to ride to train stations, not drive to them. |
| 168 | Mitchell Farquhar | |
| 169 | Alan Brake | Parking should never take precedence over providing cycle paths and bikeways. |

| 171 | Bruce Stehbens | |
| 172 | Trevor Clark | Think bike, this country realy needs to catch up with the attitude towards bikes and their use in and around the city, plus the protection and rights of the riders. |
| 173 | Shannon Roberts | we need this cycleway link! |
| 174 | sean marler | I urge BCC to retain the painted cycle lanes on Waminda Street. These lanes provide a crucial safety area for cyclists to travel in and, of equal importance, remind motor car users that cyclists also use Waminda St.
If BCC are serious about expanding cycle use in the city, then designated cycle lanes must remain and more should be painted on other roads.
I fully support the fabulous work the Active Transport Unit do within BCC however a lack of funding and commitment often results in more projects for motor vehicles, not bicycle use.
Cycling provides a plethora of social, environmental and economic benefits including reducing car use and carbon emissions, keeping fit, building community, making friends and having fun at the same time.
Power to the peddles, sean m |

| 178 | Alison Durham | We need connectedness in our modes of active transport if we are going to achieve increased active travel and decreased car dependence. This is essential in light of the obesity epidemic and global warming. |

| 180 | Jeffrey Wayne Mark | |
| 181 | Helen Hamley | Under the threat of global warming, all responsible citizens expect all levels of government to increase amenity for people who choose to use carbon neutral methods of transport. The safety of global friendly road users should be of maximum importance. |
| 182 | Amanda Smith | Retaining and improving cycling facilities are key to alleviating traffic congestion and providing an integrated public transport and bicycle transport network. These lanes are obviously part of this nnetwork. |
| 183 | Mark Rodiger | As a cyclist who has been involved in a serious accident with an unobservant motorist, I believe all efforts should be made to protect those who are minimising the traffic congestion problems (complained about by motorists) within Brisbane. This means there should be a concerted effort made to construct more cycle lanes not decrease them. |

| 185 | Anonymous | I fully support the retention of this critical piece of cycling infrastructure. |

| 189 | l.moseley | I live just off Bennets Road and cycle this section of Waminda Street twice daily ,even though This is ussually before the height of peak hour traffic,I personally have had two near misses one with a car door and one with a driver pulling out without indicating his intention to do so.I know this is a route used by a large number of cyclists daily and strongly believe that the bike lanes should remain |

| 193 | Luciana Battel | The danger also exists that from the curb approx up to 2.5m is taken by parking, then a vehicle passing will take up this and more plus a cyclist and a parked vehicle and passing vehicle and oncoming vehicle would surly envisage a narrowing and dangererous road to travel. We need to eliminate these dangerous conditions. |
