Brandi Welch | In an age where teen pregnancies, aids, and sexual addiction are growing exponentially, what kind of a genius do you need to be to understand sexually explicit material needs to be out of sight of children and teens. I am 38 years old and I do not want to look at it either.
Shirley Learned | Please use common sense and remove offensive magazines from the front of the store by the checkouts for all to see. Who needs or wants to see them ... not most of us, let alone our innocent children.
Juan | I do not agree with the way you are promoting the slut in the magazines. Please have them covered up or better still, do not sell them in your stores.
larae hatch |
Joy Pedersen | Please help us keep our children children as long as possible. Thanks
Tressie Thomas |
Juanita Thomas |
Bernadette Orso | These magazines do not belong where children can view them. I strongly urge you to move the magazines to a place where children do not have access to them, even visually.
| 4109 | Roxann Collins | I appreciate the opportunity to shop at Walmart. At the same time, I'm aware of the display of inappropriate material on the magazine racks. I don't want any kids - mine or any one else's - to be exposed to publications like Sports Illustrated. Please move it to a place that is not accessible by children of any age.
Thank you. |

Laura Ristovski | Stop displaying porn magazines where children can see them and be exposed to this filth!! Shame on you Walmart.
Gene Wilson | Please completely cover or remove magazines that have indecent covers and articles about sexual gratification. Since you can't watchdog every issue, remove them all. Somethings ARE more important than money.
Lisa Linke | I am against censorship, Americans fought hard to be free from oppression. However, I have been taught about compromise over the years and there is usually a 'grey' area. Why not cover the picture and still be able to sell the magazine?

| 4117 | Sherry | Please do the decent thing and put a cover on the front of inappropriate magazines to protect our children.
Thank you. |
M/M Jim Butterfield | Sports Illustrated and Walmart need to recognize that the swimsuit issue is not in keeping with public display standards. Covers are very visible at check out registers. If SI chooses to use such covers, they should expect that this issue will not be displayed the same way as their normal content issues.

Betty M Navarro | Other business establishments show more discretion than having offensive magazines right in full view, at the check-outs. Care about the future of America, not just your "Almighty Pocketbook".
Martha Flory |
Linda Springer | Let's stop the moral decay once and for all by starting with one small step in the right direction. Protect our children.
Raylene Hunt |
Ren Rainey |
| 4126 | Carol | I feel that Wal Mart should be a family friendly store where all forms of nudity is removed from your shelves. The movies as well as magazines.

Betty | Please protect our children from haveing to see such offence pictures on magazines. Thank You
Sarah Tompkins | I am very disappointed to hear that Wal-Mart allowed this to be prominently displayed.
Cindy Nelson | I would "flip out" on walmart employees if my children/granddaughter saw this magazine...and I'm a christian. Walmart...don't cause me to do "eye for an eye"...
elizabeth ryniak | annot understand why these mags are not covered & kept hidden from the eyes of children.
Susan Irwin | Decency in America has declined so much that nothing really surprises me anymore. I saw the magazine that is being refered to in a local Walmart in my community. All I could say was more smut and trash. Thats about all we see anymore at checkouts across America. I pray that Walmart will not allow anymore of this type of magazines to come in thier stores. Thanks
Ruth Francke |
Jessica Hatzopoulos | I strongly feel these magazines should be removed from the general magazine area and put behind a counter or covered so that children and adults just the same are not exposed to this pornography. And I wish that Walmart would go back to their roots in being a family friendly store.
LIZ ROOT | i will sign the petition to walmart s
Beth Hopkins | Also, the title of articles on covers like cosmo are VERY OFFENSIVE to me and my young girls!
Anonymous | Please, would you cover any and all explicit pictures, words, drawings, etc. with a slip cover at least, so that our children will not be exposed to such things in our public places.
Laurie Beard |
Marcia Sanford | ANY pornographic (that INCLUDES TOPLESS WOMEN!)material needs to be OFF the shelves if you expect FAMILIES to shop there! In case you haven't noticed...society has more than a FEW problems with our youth today....so quit adding to the problem and become part of the solution why don't you?!
| 4140 | Anonymous | That is just disgusting. I'm glad your daughter is smart like that, haha.
Btu seriously, all this nudity and stuff, though it's a part of life our children needn't be exposed to it! |
Wilda Sawaski | I also noticed at our local Wal Mart questionable magazines at checkout. While standing in line with my sister and her young and impressionable grandson saw a magazine with way too much skin showing, So I immediately turned all of them around facing backwards so I m very happy to sign this petition. You beat me to it, But I dont mind as long as it gets done. Hoping I can go to Wal Mart shopping without having to cencor the check out for my nephew again or my grandchildren. This just isnt righjt. Come on Wal Mart have a little pride.

Anonymous | We usually turn the magazines around or have the children wait by the bags.
Chris Rittgers | I also complained at our Wal-mart about the Sports Illustrated magazine! God bless your efforts!
