| 202 | Doug Watson | Glad to see parents finally organizing against the dictatorial WCPSS. Parents and taxpayers foot the bills for the school system and we have a right to decide where our children attend school. As Americans we like to think we have freedom, but in Wake County, NC the education elite make our choices for us. This enlightened PC bunch believes only they know what is in the best interests of children and their families. |

| 206 | Anonymous | Tired of ridiculous concept that my special ed son is on a different schedule than my spouse who teaches high school, a safety and security risk to our family. |
| 207 | Elizabeth Edwards | I wholeheartedly support this!! This nonsense has gone on long enough. |

| 212 | Sally Spencer | I find it absurd that NEITHER of my child's BASE SCHOOLS (elementary, middle or high school) falls into the district in which I must vote! I DO NOT HAVE A VOICE. Having at-large positions on the Wake County Board of Education would allow me representation on issues that effect my child's education! |
| 213 | Robert Amarante | Rosa Gil recently state there are no neighborhood schools in Wake County. It makes complete sense that there should be no District Representatives in Wake County either. In the same way all Wake County students are subject to being bussed to wherever the Board of Education decides, so should the Board of Education be subject to being elected by the entire voting population of Wake County. BOE members should not be allowed to represent ONE District, since they in fact represent the entirety of Wake County. They must be elected by the entirety of Wake County. Any judge would see this is clearly an equitable position to take. |
| 214 | Joseph Blanton | Suspensions- no proof needed.
They decide who's telling the truth, even if it's 1 kids' word against anothers.
School full of beauracry and a book full of rules, run by egotistic, power-hungry admins.
Focus on Educating our kids!!
How does taking them away from 2-3 days of classroom exposure help his education.
The child has no advocate, no representation and no rights. |

| 219 | Terri Voltz | We live in district 5; however, only one of our base schools is in district 5, our other 2 base schools are in District 4. Our year-round schools are in District 2 and District 8. We should at least be able to vote on Board members that represent all of our base schools. |

| 243 | Deborah Marney | Board members outside my voting district continually reassign my child every year. I am not allowed to vote for/against the district representative for the school my son attends. |
| 244 | Paul Barth | I agree. We should be able to vote for ALL BOE members! |
