DEFEAT THE WV GAY MARRIAGE AMENDMENT

The petition

Recently the WV Family Foundation started airing ads on television and radio asking for an amendment to the State of West Virginia Constitution. They are asking that the amendment be worded to ban gay marriage within the state. They are using personal attacks stating that gay marriage is just going to make a mockery of everything that marriage stands for. They have started a petition pushing for the amendment to be passed. Therefore, Rainbow Connections of WV INC and its members have started this petition to defeat the amendment and to let the state legislative members know that the GLBT community is a big part of the State of WV and that we deserve fair and equal rights.
This petition when finished will be sent to all state legislative members to make them understand that we are UNIFIED and that we will not go away.
