Paul Volcker was hand picked by Kofi Anna to investigate the so-called oil-for-fraud scandal at the UN. Paul Volcker was a member of the Power Corp. International Advisory Board. Power Corp. is the largest shareholder of the french oil conglomerate Total/Elf/Fina. Total stood to profit 100 billion US dollars in the first seven years of its contract with Saddam Hussein. There is therefore a conflict of interest or the appearance of a conflict of interest and Paul Volcker should resign as head of the so-called internal investigation of the UN.
