aNDREW DRENNAN | i took a chance changing from sky to virgin lets show sky who the daddy is of tv
G Cooper | HD is the future of TV whichever way you look at it why does VM insist on playing catchup all the time.
darren bellamy | told a year ago more hd channels just around the corner still waiting getting close to going back to sky
| 5 | darren | i got promised more hd content and channels when i took the service nearly one year ago and nothing happening.

martin collinson | it's getting ridiculous now!
P E Crawford | Wake up Virgin Media you are getting left behind.
Chris Rogers | More Hd on demand and a channel would be nice.
Carol Steele | When I signed up for Virgin's V+ VIP package last autumn I was told that there would be quite a few more linear HD channels available to V+ subscribers fairly soon. I was told that their HD VOD section was extremely comprehensive and would be added to significantly over the next year. In actual fact, their HD VOD content has decreased to the point of being virtually non-existent over the last 6 months.
james matchett | bit dissapointed with the HD content or rather lack of it. Is it a network capacity problem? Or is virgin positioning itself as a Value TV provider ie no bells or whistles. If that is the case make it cheaper and take off the HD badge.
George Land | This is Virgin's weakest area, and I can't understand why their HD content is so poor.
Lyndon Lewis | I think that Virgin should provide more HD programming. At least CH4 HD and look to offer Sky Sports HD. We were told that there would be HD programmes in Catch Up TV which haven't arrived.
molly malone | high def is the way to go,thats why they make hd stuff,so lets see some please virgin,or when free sat hd services take off properly you will loose a lot of customers who want more hd choices...cheaper
James Waddell |
graham Gardner |
Simon Brockbank | One channel and a few On Demand programmes does not constitute a HD service in my book.

S Andrews | Having used a TVDrive/V+ Box with an HDTV for over 2 years now, I am dismayed at the lack of available HD content on Virgin Media's cable TV service. I can understand that there may be technical/business reasons why linear channels are not an option but why, oh why, does the Virgin Media CEO repeatedly tell us that Video On Demand in the way forward (I don't disagree!) yet feed only "table scraps" to his customers capable of receiving and displaying HD programming?
Paul | i just left virgin for sky cos they dont have eny hd chanels. I now have about 15.
| 21 | Peter Watts | Only one HD channel ?.....come on, where is ITV and 4HD ?.
Get rid of all the stupid +1 channels and make some space !!! |
daniel winter |
| 23 | Anonymous | It is about time there where more hd channels

Anonymous | I AM WITH YOU ON THIS VM SHOULD HAVE MORE HD.
Robert Austen |
John Taylor | The V+ was sold under false pretences. remember the adverts and what CS told us!! No longer do we have 2 channels we now only have 1, I think SKY have 16 or so. Whats the score now!!
Callumpy | yeah, HD
steve | one HD channel is not on. Come on VM I don't want to leave and sign up for the more expensive Sky! Everything else about cable is great - but were are the HD channels!!!!??????
Anonymous | seriously, something needs to be done, even the on demand HD service is a joke and inconsistent
Dexter | sky have 18 HD channels, VM has 1. HD is the future, Free view will be far superior to VM by the end of this year
Martin Leech |
mark rosser | the stability and content of the HD VOD is very poor - please improve.
insidevirgin.blogspot.com | More HD can only be to the benefit of the consumer base. Hopofully this poll can show how many people want (and may be willing to pay) for more HD!
Simon Green |
Anonymous | I spent £150 on a V+ box, expecting more HD, but still nothing beyond BBC HD, come on Virgin. Lack of bandwidth is no excuse, US cable networks have plethora of HD so please sort it out.
Steven Jackson | Look at Sky's HD services! What are you doing, Virgin?
R.Kinton |
Simon Farmer | More HD needed ... :-)
jamie clipstone |
Christopher Curtis | The current level of service is disgraceful - you can get better for free.
julie robinson |
Norman Jamieson | In November 2006 when I got a TVDrive I was told by CS that plenty more HDTV channels were due to be launched on the network. Almost two years later and we still only have one, and a part-time channel at that. Come on VM your customers deserve better than to be deceived.
Jaabir Ramlugon | I agree. It's high time that Virgin Media offered us V+ HD customers substantial HD. In terms of VOD, but also linear channels.
Anonymous | Sack that twit Neil Berkett, CEO (Clown) for starters and getting someone in charge who is interested in the tv side would be helpfull. This clown probably as Sky HD so he doesn`t give a shit about us
Nick Watts |
Karen Forbes |
Kenny Dickson | Sky has far more HD content. There have been no announcements of any additional HD content on Virgin since I bought an HD TV 7 months ago
Mike McCabe |
Ben Harper | Come on VM sort it out! I didnt buy an HDTV for 1 channel.
| 50 | Andrew Thomas | You have been promising for too long Virgin and it is shocking at the lack of this fantastic format.
Sort it out!!!!!!!!! |
