| 2156 | Alex Butterman | This is critical. My son is barely getting 15% coverage for group therapy that he cannot productively function without. In fact, without that therapy, he becomes a menace and disruption to other students in his class and peers in activities that he participates in and we obviously know the importance of his productive participation in both school and extracurricular activities. The same can be said of his individual therapy which is barely covered at 50% by insurance. And it is too expensive to live in this area and make enough money in this economy while also being able to afford so much out of pocket expenses for such necessary services. |

| 2169 | Sheila Langston | As the Director fpr the United States Coast Guard Exceptional Family Member Program, I fully endorse the passage of Virginia House Bill 83 to mandate health insurers in Virginia to cover "habilitative" services for Virginia youth with autism and other disorders. We have many CG families who live in Virginia desperately needing this type of support.. I urge you to act on this with great speed.

| 2177 | My son is 2 years old and is on the autistic spectrum. Since learning of this in March 2009 (6 months) I have spent over $4000 in vitamins, minerals, and doctors visits. My husband has had to take off days of work to take my son to the doctor because he is too hard to handle on my own. This condition is treatable, but we need help paying for the treatment to include: tests, medicine, office calls, etc. Please do not ignore the children that are being left behind. |
| 2178 | carl williams | It is sad the this country can take care of other countries and the children in this country are in a world of shape we have this child that we need help with and cant get any. This surpose to be a nation of help when all it is, a taker, Our children have to live when we are gone our children have to run this country when we are gone and u dont take care of them but bring others in and forget bout your own,. WOW TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN BACKYARD BEFORE U CAN TAKE CARE OF ANOTHER. if your back yard looks trashed how you make your fiends your look nice thats kind of dumb u think pass the bill its need to be done |
