| 251 | Kacie Nicole Reid | If our elected officials do not represent us (the majority) then how can we call ourselves a democracy, while turning our noses up at the way other nations run their government? |

The best possible thing for our Party, is to unite behind Obama now and get on with the business of beating the Republicans. Let's do this. |

| 260 | William Lahue | It it time for a change in Washington. Barack can unite our nation in ways that Hillary, with her baggage from the Clinton years in the White House, cannot. |
| 261 | Victoria Marinelli | As someone born in Virginia, and who has made this my permanent residence for the last ten years (voting for progressive and Democratic interests in nearly every election, including for smaller local races), I care deeply about the future of our Commonwealth, which will soon belong to my two daughters.
And I implore you, with all sincerity (and as someone who truly respects Senator Clinton's service to this country, and wishes her no ill will whatsoever), to please give proper consideration for the will of Virginia's voters, who overwhelmingly supported Barack Obama in our Commonwealth's primary.
To do otherwise would be to sabotage the interests of not only our state, but of Democracy itself.
In peace, and with greatest respect -
Victoria Marinelli

| 268 | Sherri Pascal | Super Delegates please do your part!! It is imperative that you do right by the people and for the people. |
| 269 | Patricia Y. Lloyd | I concur that my Virginia Superdelegates should honor the voice of Virginia primary voters and give their votes to Senator Obama. Hopefully they will so decide and declare by May at the latest so that the Democratic party can focus its attention on the general election and not continue to make that contest an easier one for the Republicans. |

| 275 | Kimberly L.Certa | As someone who has been a resident of Virginia for 33 years and who has a great respect for Senator Clinton, I implore you to please listen to the voices of Virginian voters who chose Senator Obama as their choice for the Democratic nomination.
With respect,

Sorry Hil, but I'm somewhat of an expert on folks telling me I can't win ;-) |

| 283 | David L Bayliss | Yes, Hillary Clinton should give up the fight for the nomination. If this contest continues, neither Democrat will beat McCain in the Fall election. Furthermore, if McCain wins, he will more than likely be President for 8 years, not 4, and it will be unlikely that Hillary can ever win any furture election because Democratic voters will blame her for the loss this year to McCain. She should get out now for the good of the party and her own future election prospects. |
| 284 | Sol Ross | I wholly agree with the convenants listed in the petition. Please unite the party and support Senator Obama. |

| 291 | Robert Pearson | Dear Super Delegates,
Please help unify our party and support Barack now!
We need to start fighting the Republicans ASAP. |
| 292 | Margaret Gerlach | Senator Obama offers the best chance to undo the negative thinking that has hindered our political scene for too long. He can win cooperation from all sides and again make Democrats the leaders we once were.
He also has the best chance to defeat John McCain. He has the personality and intellect to bring many independent voters into the Democratic fold.
You need to exercise your stewardship of the Virginia Democratic conscience prudently. If there is any indication of the voters decision being replaced by "the machine's" decision, Virginia's movement toward being a "blue state" will be stalled for another twenty years. Neither the State or the Country can afford that.
Sincerely, Harry & Margaret Gerlach |

| 298 | Alex Blakemore | As an active Democrat, and former precinct operations chair of my local committee, I strongly urge to announce for Barack Obama NOW. To be successful in November, we need to start organizing and planning our campaign in Virginia as soon as possible. The longer this campaign drags on, the more difficult it will be to coordinate an effective campaign. Logistics are critical and take lead time. |
