| 105 | Roger Hawkins | We will soon be living in a villa in Incirkoy very close to this quarry. We object to this cement factory being build because it will ruin the entire area for miles around. The health of local people will be badly affected and their crops ruined. The monetary benefit the area as recently been enjoying will come to an abrupt halt, because foreigners like ourselves will not want to invest and live in an area where their lives will be blighted by the output of dust from a Cement factory. We have experienced this problem in Gt Britain before and the companies closed and moved to areas where people health and lives would not be affected. |

| 107 | Paul Monk | Been living in Uzumlu for the past 2 years. This would be an enviromental disaster to our countryside, nature and to the residents.
Good Luck to all who are working to stop this. |
| 108 | Bev James | Although I don't live in Turkey I understand the need to preserve the enviroment. |
| 109 | Anonymous | The Üzümlü valley is renowned for its natural beauty and agriculture so please do not pollute the natural environment here by building a cement factory. |

| 123 | Dogan Bayrak | I don't wish to see my beatiful country and forest destroyed with this developpement which will have impact on all peoples daily lifes and our future generations. We don't need that ! PLEASE STOP THIS FACTORY !! |
| 124 | barbara mcauley | I cant believe that this Turkish company is allowed to establish a cement factory in this area of outstanding beauty. Have the local resisidents in the village been informed of the long term health effects that this will have on theirselves and their families. It will be too late in ten years time if a person contracts white lung disease and dies as a result or a baby is born with defects. I can only conclude that monetary greed has overuled peoples health and ravaging the country side. Would the boss of this company like a cement factory within two kilometres of his home and for his family to breathe in this dust - I don't think so!! |
| 125 | Sandy & Jon Carter | We own property in Nif/Arpecik and we strongly object to the constrution of a cement factory and or any type of lime kilns on the Urantas quarry site in Uzumlu. We also request the company cease quarrying immediately, landscape the quarry workings and re-plant the trees that have been removed from the site. |

| 127 | Anonymous | Uzumlu is an area reknown for it's clean air and lovely unspoilt country setting.
Why spoil it when it is unnecessary, will cause pollution and totally spoil a beautiful area. |
| 128 | Susan Donne | |
| 129 | Abigail Marsh | Keep Uzumlu beautiful! |
| 130 | stephen chidgey | I purchased a property on a new development in Uzumlu being Mitas Houses. The dust and noise is already a huge detriment to the envornment. The heavy vehicles also cause a threat on the steep hills on all roads in and out of the area. How can the new houses just built ever be sold in the threat of this monsterous proposal. |

| 138 | Rob Addison | A cement factory is not suitable for the local area, local peoples health and happiness must be put before corporate profit. |
| 139 | Graham Fry | I would like to register our opposition to the proposed cement factory in Uzumlu.
We have recently purchased a lovely house in the Mitas development, which was going to be our dream retirement home. |
| 140 | kim & Paul Girdlestone | We have a house in Uzumlu & I was not best pleased to see the valley spoilt by this unconsiderate company who feel they can just destroy the natrual habbitat & being so close to the villages. Turkey is a vast country & Im sure they could have gone to a romote location that would not harm peoples health & interfere with local village life, & the natrual forrest countryside. Please keep me informed on any progress on closing this cement factory down! Kim & Paul Girdlestone England/Uzumlu |
| 141 | Steve Dennis | This proposal will be a blight on a wonderful area of natural beauty and destroy the livelihood of many people - it simply must not go ahead! |

| 147 | Frederick Earle | The value of our Uzumlu property, a beautiful house in the mountains with a view of the proposed site, will be adversely affected, property values and quality of life will cause us a loss of investment value. |
| 148 | Daiva Earle | Our house value will be adversely affected. |
| 149 | Daiva Earle | Our house value will be adversely affected. |
| 150 | Mindaugas Puidokas | This is outrageous! Very important that Turkey must protect its environment and the special region of Uzumlu! |
