Save University Of Rhode Island Field Hockey!

The petition

My signature below signifies my support of the University of Rhode Island's field hockey team, and signifies my opposition to the funding cuts at the University announced April 14, 2008. I understand that by signing below I will be supporting keeping field hockey at URI. I have not been coerced to make this decision, but have decided to support the URI field hockey program as well as those of the men's swim team, men's tennis team, and the gymnastics teams. This support is mine alone and has been uncoerced by any individual. My support is on the principle that the American field hockey community rises and wanes together, and an attack on one of us is an attack on all.
