Emma Webb | It is vital that we do not have captive cetaceans in the UK. These animals belong in the oceans should not be exploited for food, entertainment or anything else.

Miss Claire Louise Stares | Besides death, there is no greater punishment than to deny a man or woman their ilberty. Yet, some people are content to imprison a wild animal in a tank for its whole life, in the belief that if it has food, water and security, it will be perfectly happy. Or is it that they just don't care? For wild, free-ranging, social animals like whales and dolphins to have a real chance of fulfilling their natural destiny there is NO CHOICE but FREEDOM. Please introduce legislation to prohibit the importation and display of cetaceans in the UK. Keep dolphins and whales where they belong - wild and free in the ocean.

Kayleigh | These animals were born to be in the wild - they were not put on this planet to entertain us.

David Snow | Whales are so magnificent ...and accessible in the wild...why put them in prisons? You can stand on a cliff in Newfoundland and watch them for hours.....it beats the heck out of any sea world show. Keep the UK free of captive whales!

Angela Boyd | I hope the keeping of cetaceans in captivity, let alone for "entertainment" and so-called therapy (for humans, not dolphins) will soon be banned worldwide.. One can but hope...
