| 94 | Anna Yunnie | I work at the Naional Marine Aquarium in Plymouth and am taking a degree course in marine biology after ten years working with sharks, rays and other marine life around the world. I would leave my job at the aquarium if it ever contemplated keeping cetaceans. We work very hard here to explain to people why we don't have them here, and everyone understands and sympathises when you explain that they are intelligent pelagic animals. We don't need cetaceans in captivity, the oceans hold more wonders than we can ever imagine..if I can captivate an audience telling them about how starfish feed, I think I have proved my point. |
