301 Caroline SeagerGBmotherlifeno such thing now as 'nuclear deterant', those who will, will! An example has to be taught to the whole world that there is no place for such destructive weapons, if we start now, there is no telling where it will end.

305 Jayne JarvisGBI know I'm a bit late but I am just so outraged that this has been passed. it is the most blatent waste of money I have ever seen. We are supposedly "strapped for cash" and so are taxed to our eyeballs. Yesterday, the same day that Trident 2 was in the news we were told that out of hours care is not good enough and the NHS can't afford to make it better. Well there's a spare £40 billion knocking around that we seem to be able to spend on illegal nuclear weapons....! Where is the logic?! It is OUTRAGOUS to even consider replacing Trident!
306 Vicki PayneAUmedicalBristol UKAs an Australian and UK citizen and in the field of medicine I strongly protest against nuclear proliferation which the Trident project will accelerate. We should be cutting down existing nuclear weapons not increasing them
