Corey Petree | Most grocery stores in this area are swamped and overcrowded because we don't have enough stores for our population. H Street NE near Union Station has no grocery stores. It would also help make the neighborhood more walkable to have a grocery store in our area. I'm convinced that whoever opens a store here will be overrun with business.
Alan Kimber | We are so badly in need of good shopping in our rapidly growing area in DC. In addition to already strong demographics in the area, there are 500 new luxury condos delivering in the next month or two, and over 2,000 more units in the pipeline. We are also home to the new HQ of the SEC, and have significant other office building developments underway. Bottom line, if you think the store in Foggy Bottom is doing well, you will be flat-out amazed at the results of a store at 3rd & H Street NE.

Nathan Barr | I love your store and think it would do really well at this spot. You'd be convenient to all of Capitol Hill, as well as Gallery Place/Penn Quarter. Please give it serious consideration.
Janice Blanchard | Would love to see a Trader Joe's at 3rd and H. I think you would get a lot of business from the neighborhood as the need is tremendous!

Marlene Walker-Golden | Please, please, please bring Trader Joe's to Capitol Hill - we desperately want you there. You won't regret it!

Melissa Merrell | A trader joe's would be a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. I now routinely make trips out to RT 1 and would love to have one down the street!
| 33 | Anonymous | We encourage you to be a part of the revitalization of a great historic neighborhood. A neighborhood like this deserves to be saved from Safeway!!!
Please come to H street. |
jon snow | Please located to NE DC!

Colleen Sealander | If Trader Joe's would open at 3d and H, I would shop there every week.
Evans Sealander |
| 38 | Timothy Fenton | I am a regular trader joe's customer, but I currently need to travel to Virginia to shop with you. We frequent the Old Town Alexandria (Washington St.) location.
We live at 3rd & G Sts., and we'd love to have a TJ's right here on H St. |
Melissa Marcello | This would be a win-win for Trader Joe's and the neighborhood! With the increased density of the area due the many new condo buildings and the proximity to Union Station, this location shows much promise for an establishment such as Trader Joe's. Thank you for your consideration! Melissa Marcello
Judith Smith | Would love to have the TJ at 3rd/H, NE and would shop there frequently. I usually do NOT drive to the suburbs even though I do like TJ. It is all about convenience for me.
Peter Medley | The sooner, the better
David Rivera | I just got some All-Clad cookware and I'm all ready to host some killer dinner parties for my friends. Please come!
Amy Hubbard |
Jock Friedly | I love Trader Joes and know that if you came to H Street, I would turn into a weekly shopper.
Ken Eisner | You would definitely be our every week grocery. We would welcome and love to have you!
Richard Luna | Count me in as strongly in support of a Trader Joes at 3rd and H Street, NE!
sally S. Donner | Live in the neighborhood; would shop at the store
Noah Meyerson | I live at 4th and F and try to travel to the Trader Joe's in Virginia and Foggy Bottom, but often cannot make it there. If a TJs opened, it would immediately become my store of choice, as it would for many if not most of the people in the area. It would also draw from Brookland, downtown/NOMA, and people heading from work downtown to eastern DC and the Maryland suburbs. In addition, many people walk from the Foggy Bottom metro to the Foggy Bottom TJs - this location is even closer to Union Station.
