Tiananmen Square rights activists jailed 19 years

The petition

The Tiananmen Square protests occurred almost exactly 19 years ago today (4 June 2008) yet, according to Jonathan Watts in today's online Guardian newspaper more than 100 activitists are still prisoners.

It is more than time to release them. Please, join with me in calling upon the Chinese government to display the same openness in dealing with these people that they have shown in connection with the recent tragedy involving earthquakes, aftershocks and 'quake lakes'.
