20 JamieFryerIt does seem extremely unfair to equally weight non-medical related activities and medical related activities. it seems much more appropriate to patient care to be cared for by a medic dedicated to his field than one who is president of 3 sports teams and is part of the RAG drinking society.

So long as one has an over-inflated sense of importance attached to their own minor achievments, then they will go far - so long as they are able to reflect upon them in the desired manner.
