Samantha BurtonIts crazy to let a place with such class go down, a very sad state when true culture is mowed down by bland commercialism!
al pastorimusic is food for our soul, live music is the chief food; save the spitz!!!
Anonymousit's so sad to think the the Spitz will no longer be part of my area. a travesty.

arthur jonesA travesty it is, and the money rolls in, and on. Who lost a city?

Oliver GellThe Spitz epitomises all that is great about the Spitalfields area, and its loss would signify all that is wrong with the gentrification of it.
Dr Alina CongreveLondon needs more good quality music and arts venues like Spitz, not grey chain shopping

AnonymousGreat place, great venue, great Trust! please do not let Spitz go...
Dr Gordon MacMillanSpitz is a cultured, progressive, creative, venue which promotes the best of Britain's emerging music talent. The Dandelion Trust is enlightened and well established charity. Spitalfields Market would be poorer and less vibrant should it be bereft of these two bastions of our cultural heritage.

joe cumminsnoooooooooooo..... i love this place....
Samuel LynnHow short-sighted can planners for the new market possibly be? People come to Spitalfields because of places like Spitz, without them it will just be a glorified shopping mall.

Anna SimpsonThis is one of the most popular and well-loved venues in the east end - it'll be badly missed if we don't find it somewhere special.

Ollierock n roll, peace and love. keep the london scene alive (especially one as sick as this)
Tony PowellUntil today I had never heard of the Spitz. The reason I found you was becuase I work for a company called mylivegig.com. We are actively signing up many new venues whom will let us broadcast live music to the world via the internet. If you get in contact with me directly I could show you a demo. If the Spitz could secure a new venue it maybe that we can help you generate new revenues that were not available to you before. I wish you well for now and hope to here from you in the near future. Kind regards, Tony Powell

Mike RaceWhy does another one of our music venues with great atmospheere have to be closed? We are soon just going to be left with O2 and Wembley playing chart rubbish and numbing our brains!
Peter O'HearnThis is stupid.
ileniaI love this place.. I hope the spitz will stay where it has always been..
Sarah LuddySpitz is an institution and integral part of Spitalfields Market - if Spitz goes, the market will lose part of its soul
Emma Clark
Peter NagleThe Spitz is an unique venue, and one of the crown jewels of London's economically and socially vital arts scene; and its enforced closure is an appalling act of cultural vandalism.
Peter FialaIts strange that the one entity that really is at the centre of any revitalisation of the area is now being pushed out. Somethings should not be driven by profits but for the greater benefit...
Steven YatesSave the Spitz and let's defeat the corporate vultures who want to wipe out the heart and soul of Spitalfields with empty office buildings.
