Emily Juniper | Spitz is an extraordinary venue, so warm and friendly and inviting... it practically has a heart beat... It doesn't have it's finger on the pulse because it is the pulse... being inside it's cultural caverns is like being inside the belly of a gentle giant whale that's swallowed everything cool and hip and wonderful and pure and funky and lets you digest the guitar strums, key changes, tender lyrics, soul-full solos, lightness and darkness of the most expansive set of artists, taking them, serving them up with candles and red wine and letting us digest them with relish... How? How do we go on without it? and Why? Why should we have to?
LAURIE GETHIN | The Spitz is an artery in London's musical body. It must not be severed!
Mikey | Don't let the spitz close!!

It seems greed has taken over, I'll not be spending my money in the new gentrified Spitalfields. Long live the Truman Brewery! |
Kristin Kramer | This is a fabulous venue still offers individual character to the neighborhood that has rapidly seen the onslaught of mainstream chains such as Nandos, Strada, Tesco Metro etc. It would be a an ant-social crime to let it get taken over.

Oli Dillon |
Mandi Peers | The Spitz is a wonderful, accessible music venue near my home, which I would miss greatly.
Anonymous | I was there when it opened, and thought it was a great venue. Keep it that way!

asher levin |
Chris Jackson | Please don't rip more of the heart out of Spitalfields Market.
Kuba Nowak | I am disgusted. I thought the initial promise was to keep at least half of spitalfields in its current state.
Lisa Aitken | C'mon. Lets not let (another) part of London fall victim to commercialism under the guise of "cleaning up the area"....
Andy Wicks | Saw Circulus there recently, loved the place

Kirsten downer | Please, please recognise a huge cultural asset when you see one and allow The Spitz to stay at Old Spitalfields Market. Do you want everywhere to look and be the same? Homogenous, corporate, banal and forgettable?
Chris Roberts |
Max Helmore |
peter blackburn | this venue should stay for the good of the community and for the use of up and coming artists.

linda pownall | Dont Goooooooo ! Dont take away more of Our London....

Anthony Newman | The spitz is now an institution for london musicians and music lovers and deserves to be part of London's musical heritage as much as the royal opera house or the albert hall!
