has organised an online petition on behalf of ALL Robyn Hitchcock/Soft Boys fans worldwide:

This year marks the release of a third retrospective box set, dedicated to The Soft Boys!
While we are *extremely* grateful for the release of the two previous Robyn Hitchcock-related box sets (I Wanna Go Backwards and Luminous Groove), we also feel that there is something missing and hope that this can be remedied on release of the Soft Boys box set.

We, the undersigned, would therefore like to ask Robyn Hitchcock the following:

Could you *please* include any of the following:

* factual and anecdotal material (band origins and any general background to the recordings, for example)
* lyrics
* personnel / credits
* a discography
* historical or social context of the tracks

either as physical booklets/inserts or otherwise as digital downloads, so they can be added to the individual box sets?

We think this would render Luminous Groove even more luminous than it already is and present the Bad Case of History in a more favourable light, for posterity!
