| 4 | Anonymous | If the DNC wishes to be viewed as a true democratic party for the people and by the people they must allow Senator Clinton's name to be placed for a open ballot roll call vote.
In the entire history of the Democratic party no other candidate has come as close as Senator Clinton, for all intense purposes a tie in the primary election.
If the DNC wishes for true unity they must allow for Senator Cinton's voters to be heard at the convention. |

| 7 | Billie Willard | I want real democracy and I want my vote to count. |
| 8 | Fernanda Scherrer | procedures previously established are a "safety net" and have to be respected. If they are bent or changed during a process, in this case the primaries, in order to archieve a certain, predetermined result, all legitimity is lost. You wouldn't want, Dr. Dean, an illegitimate nominee, because however attractive this might appear at the moment, irreparable damage would incur to the party in the long run. |
| 9 | Mary Bourgeois | Dr. Dean, unfortunately a large majority of us don't believe most of what you say in interviews. We remember the primary season and all the evasions you made at every turn.
I need to know from your own mouth that you will assure that Hillary Clinton will be on the ballot at the Convention. I need to be assured that she will be accorded the same consideration that other candidates have been accorded at prior conventions. Until then, I will continue to press you for clarification and assurance. |

| 15 | Diana Estorino | It is not too much to ask that the Democratic Party should hold a democratic convention. |
| 16 | Mary Buckeridge | Dr. Dean:
The idea of one candidate in nomination at the convention brings to mind the Cuban Crisis and take over by Fidel Castro. I was 4 or 5 when I last visited Cuba. Reading at a young age, I remember strolling the streets of Havana with my parents, reading the signs to vote for Castro. One of the devastating results of the Castro coup, is that their elections have a higher turn out than the U.S. Sounds good doesn't it? Everyone votes in Cuba, and the candidate always wins. Why? There is only one candidate to VOTE FOR, and that candidate is pre-selected. Is this where we are heading? It seems so when the candidate who has won the popular vote is not in nomination. To present Senator Obama as the only nominee, you are reflecting the voting process of Communist Cuba!! |
| 17 | Theresa Leasure | It is time to quit playing word games. |
| 18 | Diane Cox | Tell the truth Howard if you know how. We are Democrats that are feed up with the leadership of the DNC and their dirty dealings to get Obama the nomination. |
| 19 | Billi L. Bromer | |
| 20 | Jay Morris | It appears that the Democratic Party leadership is following in the footsteps of despots who only allow themselves on the ballot to insure victory. If the convention is to be democratic then Senator Clinton's name must be formally placed in nomination. |
| 21 | Eve Parment | Listen up please Mr. Dean and dont treat us with smaller thoughts than you would have us treat you with. Moveing the DNC to Chicago shows us you arent for fair politics. Obama isnt the nominee and if he should be become such will not win in Nov. |
| 22 | Toni Anne Reagan | For the first time in my adult life I am ashamed of my party and will be voting republican ... how dare you give away AMERICAN VOTES to the presumptuous candidate of the demographic party . Proud Puma |

| 30 | Anonymous | If Senator Clinton's name is not put in nomination at the convention I will not vote for Tom Allen for the Senate. I have notified his office of the fact that I feel that the DNC is responsible for the mess that has been created in the primaries and that his support for Obama is not something I will honor with my vote. |
| 31 | Cathy Holman | Dr. Dean,
Hillary Clinton's name put in nomination is .
mandatory.
Sincerely,

Our votes and the votes of the delegates do not belong to you or to any candidate until they are given at the convention. Our democratic process must be observed in order for any of us to call ourselves Democrats. To do otherwise is to admit that we are not democratic after all. |
| 38 | Anonymous | call yourself a democrat, Howard. Just resign. You make a mockery of the word. |
| 39 | MJ Novi | HILLARY!!!! |

| 41 | Anonymous | Why is the Democratic leadership being so undemocratic? Senator Clinton earned the right to have her name placed in nomination and to have an open roll call vote by campaigning vigorously in all 50 states and by winning all but one of the must-win states in the GE. |

| 47 | Patti | I am one of 18 million Hillary Clinton voters who want Hillary's name in nomination for President at the Convention in Denver.
I won't vote for the SELECTED candidate, Obama. We want the ELECTED candidate, Hillary for President.

| 48 | Marsha McLean | As someone from your home state of Vermont, I must say that I am embarassed by the way in which you are conducting the business of the Democratic Party. Be courageous instead of fearful in your decisions going forward. |

| 50 | Julianne Barbato | Herr Dean: We demand that Sen. Clinton's name be PLACED IN NOMINATION, you autocratic little Napolean. While you're licking your tiny chops over the installation of your effete, ineffectual puppet, the Party is disintegrating around you. We're hip to the dirty machinations of the Gang of Losers who've turned OUR party into an oxymoron. We'll remember come November, after which you'll slink into a disgraced obscurity. We're working to unseat Pelosi, Reid, Kerry, et al. Won't you be surprised when the true stewards of democracy prevail and you and your footsoldiers are "picked off" the political landscape one by one. PUMA! |
