| 52 | Ingrid Lowe | I do not want these drugs to be legal in our show horses. |
| 53 | Sharon Greenwood | This a another stupid idea to help out a good old boy. If HYPP horses can show with drugs then the steroid rule must be changed so horses that don't have HYPP can compete with the positive horses. I for one will not show in classes if they are allowed to show their horses with a drug that gives them an unfair advantage. They know the risks they are taking when they breed to a positive horse. For crying out loud it is a genetic defect what are you thinking or is it why aren't you thinking? |

| 55 | Rosalie Moffett | Acet and Lasix have no place in our Aphc. If your horse needs these drugs it needs to stay home, not show.

| 60 | Kathleen M. Snyder | I have been an ApHC member since 1989. I live in Fort White, Florida. I am AGAINST the use of drugs for ANY horse entering an ApHC sponsered event. |
| 61 | Jeanne Jolliffe NY | I have been a member for over 15 years. Drugs should not be used to show, If a horse needs drugs to survive or heal then don't show it, treat it at home. |

| 63 | Catherine Dunnagan | No Drugs............... |
| 64 | Kimberly Cheney | I am AGAINST allowing or encouragine any more drug use in animals than is already allowed. I do not feel that the Board acted with the best interest of ALL members. This ruling should be thrown out. |

| 68 | keith willis | don't make this into a drug sport like baseball, football, wrestling or almost all sports. |
| 69 | Peggy Lopez | As a breeder/owner for over 35 years, I find this action is detrimental to Appaloosas and horses in general. Any horse that needs medication to perform should not be shown...period! |

| 74 | Stefanie O'Dell ApHC member since 1994 | I am totally against any drugs allowed in any show ring for any reason. If they can't show horses without drugs, then keep them home.
My compromise would be, take the Lasix and Ace off the new drugs allowed list.
These drugs only perpetuate the HYPP +/+ and +/- horses to be bred and shown. This genetic defect can be eradicated from all horses tracing to the AQHA stallion Impressive by simply dis allowing them to be shown and not registering them if they are DNA tested positive.

| 75 | PAUL PRUETT | I believe in achieving results with natural means not by the use of drugs or medications which affect the horse in ways we cannot predict or understand. |
| 76 | Sylvia Johnson | No more DRUGS! |
| 77 | Christine Siolo | I have grave concerns as a new member to this organization of approving Acetazolimide and Lasix for use in the ApHC. Since the AQHA is no longer registering HyPP H/H horses which require Acetazolimide upto 3 times a day why would you want these horses shown against horses that are free of a this genetic mutation. HyPP N/H horses which may also require Acetazolimide have a 50 percent chance of passing this mutation on to their progeny. Please revisit this issue and refuse to institute the use of these drugs to our horses in this club, if you won't protect the breed who will?. Thank you for your time.

| 78 | Cathie Moss | So many decisions made by the BOD concerning our great horses clearly benefits someone. It's not the common horse person so it must be higher up than us. I was raised that to compete and win fairly was great. My horses don't need drugs to compete and if they did they wouldn't be in the ring. I think more of them and myself than that. |

| 84 | Debra Bayley | I do not want to see anymore drugs added to this rule. It would be opening a whole other can of worms, and people get into trouble even with the rule we now have inplace! Thank You!! |

| 89 | Anonymous | Nisswa, MN, ApHC member, absolutly no drugs to enable unhealty horses to compete with heathy ones. I don't support awarding ribbons to horses that can't positively impact the breed. Perhaps we should start a new class division-instead of non-pro, have drugged horse classes. |
| 90 | Jan Pennington | How unfair is that! Horses with the HYPP gene have a big advantage over us anyway, these people need to look on the moral side , what they are breeding is not safe, it is unfair to the horse, it is cruel and nonethical. |

| 97 | Wanda Gorgoschlitz | I absolutely am against drug use in showing Apps. I also will not show against horses legally using drugs to compete. One more person lost to the show ring-I'll show in WSCA and open shows. The manner in which this was approved is embarassing. |

| 99 | Anonymous | I think it is absalutely horrible when people drug their horses and go in the ring and WIN EVERYTHING! it gets so annoying to the people that actually work hard to place and all they do is stick a shot in their horses bhind. DRUGS NEED TO BE ILLEGAL ALL TYPES IN THE ApHC BREDD SHOWS SO IT IS FAIR |
