| 2 | Carrie Giannandrea | Appaloosas have always been able to show w/o Drugs, why do we need them now?? |
| 3 | Kathleen Wisely | |
| 4 | Lisa M Supon | What's this breed coming to? If we start allowing this to happen, it will just escolate into more drugging and less raising of drug-free quality appys! |
| 5 | Michaela Watson-Upton | I WANT to have tests done for genetic problems such as HYPP. I refuse to buy or own any horse that I dont have a history of or testing done since I dont believe horses with genetic problems should be bred or even allowed in any organization. Appaloosa's have such a rich history, that we shouldnt jeapordize it once again |

| 7 | Yvette Bobb, Member | Please rethink your decisions on AceT and Lasix. I show my horses occasionally, and do not believe it would be a fair and level playing field. If my horse needs meds, it stays home. Take a stand for the horse! |
| 8 | Ronda Willis | I think we need to work at eliminating HYPP in our Appaloosas rather than allow a drug to make it easier for them to enter the showpen. We can find the HYPP status of horses without needing to approve a drug masking agent to our approved drug list.
On lasix, we need many more studies/research done on this drug before we allow it in our showpen. No one knows for sure what type of reactions and/or damage this drug will have on our games horses with the way we run our games classes, horse against horse. Another reason to not allow lasix is that it is a drug masking agent also.
Any drug that may be approved in the future needs to have restrictions and regulations attached as well as having to be declared by a vet first. Lasix has no such things attached to it's being used.
We need to put the Appaloosa and our horses health above all else first. |

| 14 | Sigrid Ricco | I am a member of ApHC and do not believe these 2 drugs should be allowed in the show ring. Our show horses should be the best of the breed and not need these drugs to keep them going. |
| 15 | Debbie Schaffer | I do NOT think that Lasix is a safe drug at all to be giving to our horses. I have been told that the pleasure horses so that they cant pee for the inspectors. The TB are re-thinking their part in allowing this in their industry.
Also with ACET I dont think we need something to give the HYPP horses a prop. We just need to get them out of the registary, OR if they cant show without it then let them stay home.
We do NOT need drugs we need to have healthy horses instead. |

Just say NO to all drugs. |
| 20 | Michael Snow | I am totally against have drugs used in the show ring.I was broungt up thinking that the show ring was the best of the best, well if this rule goes thru then it means hey we can dope up and horse no matter what is wrong with it and can win.
I have talked to a number of Equine vets about these drugs and they could not beleive what is going on and it being allowed. It is well known that Lasix is a masking drug.
The attendence in the aphc is down anyway, doing this will be the nail in the coffin i beleive, who wants to compete against horses that are altered with these drugs,I for one sure do not.
I have been a trainer for over30 years and WILL NOT subject my students in the ring with this kind of abuse. What are we teaching our youngsters about horsemanship when things like this is allowed.CAN YOU GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON JUST ONE,WELL I DON'T THINK SO!
I think you need to sit down and thing long and hard on what you are doing and what problems you are fixxing to couse to the aphc...

| 22 | Jan Dobson | I believe that if a horse needs these kinds of drugs then it does not belong in the show arena. |
| 23 | Stan Dobson | I am an ApHC member whose family owns over 50 ApHC Registered Horses. We do not want drugged horses in the ApHC Show arena. |
| 24 | Angie Spour | I agree that no drugs should be allowed to be used, and that the BOD should revisit this promptly. |
| 25 | Sandy Sargent | Any motion that promotes and/or allows the showing of HYPP positive horses should not be passed. |
| 26 | Sheila Kobs | |
| 27 | T Jean Maus | I think the new drugs rules are nothing more than a legalized way for trainers to cheat. |

| 29 | Anonymous | I totally oppose the addition of Lasix and Acetazloimide to the allowaable drug list. I can't believe the sneaky and underhanded way the BOD when about passing this rule with out allowing for membership comments. I didn't even know about the ruling at all until AFTER the second vote had passed. I wasn't even given a chance to have my opinion heard because the vote passed before I was even Informed. Now that I am informed and still oppose the rules. The BOD is ignoring the opposition and is not making any plans to actually listen to their membership. |

| 35 | Deloris J. Willis - www.AppyHorsey.com | NO DRUGS in my Appaloosa's!!
If it needs drugs, then it's not fit to ride, let alone compete!!! And definitely not fit to breed!!

| 36 | Faith Epley | The use of drugs for unfair competition benefits has gone on much to long and the rules that we do have seem only to apply to certain people. The drug rules should be harsher and apply to all involved. |

| 39 | Kim Rumpsa | I have shown without drugs and injections all my showing career, and will not mask a problem just to win. It's cheating, and unfair for the horse and the others competing against that horse. I question the BOD members who voted for the drugs. Are they trainers? For those who voted yes, what more than me do they have to gain by making this go through? Apparently a lot, in their eyes. This drug issue brings up the trainer thing, again, in a show where they are drug testing. I am a small breeder. If I were caught administering illegal drugs to my horses, I would get in all sorts of trouble, where someone with a lot of money being brought to the ApHC may get a slap on the hand, or a turned cheek. Don't get me wrong, though; I speak of a small handful of people. Most trainers I know are very honest and choose to do and, therefore, teach the moral thing. I am saddened by some decisions being made by the ApHC. Just like the (Quarter Horse) fake tails, but that's another topic... |
| 40 | Lise Jumper | We should be working to improve the health and fitmess of our horses, not giving them crutches to compete when they should be given proper time to heal or be retired to less stressful duty. |
