We, all members, in good standing of the Telecommunications Workers Union, demand that the TWU Executive Committee and Bargaining Committee,postpone all negotiations with Telus for at least the next 30 days.
We believe, that the tentative offer presented by the TWUBC was not an acceptable starting point for negotiations. The tentative offer is an insult to the commitment of the TWU members, as well as the labour movement across Canada.
We believe, only members in good standing with the Telecommunication Workers Union should be eligible to vote.
We believe, that the TWUBC should only re-open negotiations if Telus approaches the TWU, or is ordered to continue negotiating by the CIRB. |
