This is the first season I decided to actually suck it up and sit in the "alumni" section and not weasel my way into the student section. For the GT game I was up standing and applauding, yelling my heart out and I was promptly tugged on and told to sit down. In almost total disbelief I sat down starting at the middle aged couple who seemingly ignored me. The next play GT threw a touchdown to our corner of the endzone (section 19) about 30 feet from my seat. I turned around, stunned and got up to walk away. I cannot watch a game, or try to help my team if the whole crowd is against me. We need a section for TRUE FANS...a section that will give Byrd a definitive edge. |
