Attending athletic events was a major part of my college career. Now that I am alumni, I would love to enjoy the game in a similiar manner to when I was a student. Creating a "stand-only" section for non-students is a great idea and would bring together a great nucleus of fans. These fans and their excitement about Terp football would start a shift in the entire community towards a new football atmosphere similiar to those we see at SEC schools. I see no serious reasons to prevent this from occuring and look forward to experiencing a new football atmosphere in College Park. |

Not only would this facilitate strengthening of the "home field advantage", but it also provides an additional means by which Terp fans can establish a closer bond to the FB program. Implementation of this initiative and subsequent athletic department recognition of these Terp football fans would play a significant role in fostering the passion for and interest in Terp football that the program deserves and is striving to achieve. |
