| 1126 | Christy | McMunn | Martinsburg, WV | I would like to encourage you to help the Kensington Community rebuild in a way that gives rest to everyone's soul.
As an student in architecture in NY, I learned how important it was to have living-fabric within a neighborhood, such as a park fory young and old that incorporates a comunity garden.
As a resident in NJ, I learned how much I was given and how little others had.
As a visitor to Philadelphia on elementary school field trips, I found a city that had so much to offer.
I ask that those of you who have the ability to allow the Kensington Community to do something beautiful and pro-active within their neighborhood, to do all you can to enrich and empower this area.
In doing so, you will be building lives and doing a good service to all. Thank you for your time. |
