The petition


WHEREAS the Nurture, Youth, and Camping Ministries of the Tennessee Annual Conference have proven highly successful in spiritual formation and leadership development; and

WHEREAS programming for children, youth, and young adults is vital to the future of our Church; and

WHEREAS it is necessary to have dedicated staff to coordinate and arrange programming and ministries in these areas; and

WHEREAS the decision to eliminate the programming positions from the Conference Office staff was made without input from any children, youth, or young adult coordinators or representitives;

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the programming positions be immediately restored.
