The petition

To whoever it may concern,

We all hear racism everyday, and most of us know better that its highly frowned upon (if not criminal in some countries), so why do we still hear it around TDA games and the channel?

What I propose is a way to deal with racists in the TDA channel through a three strike system. Dealing with racism in games is another matter which is highly controversial and believe that this proposal will be the first step into dealing with this problem.

With the resources TDA has accumulated over these past months (if not years) namely the TDABot system, I believe that the TDABot word parser should be used to pick up racist remarks and warn the individual to watch their language.

I am suggesting that racist comments should receive a three-strike warning before a reprimand such as a 15 minutes to an hour ban from the chatroom should be enforced.

It has been brought to my attention that TDA should have the resources to do this, as the entire Azeroth build of usernames include additional footnotes as well as games played. I believe that adding an additional accumulator to count the number of racist remarks so as to allow TDA game matches to be a proper place where fellow players can conjugate and play games without fear of being jeered at for being born into a certain race.

All I ask simply is this: Why must anyone who wishes to enter the gaming world of DOTA endure derogatory terms because of their culture or heritage?
