| 1 | Anonymous | This is a very needed service and it works.. I work at Career Centers and after these people stay at the Fellowship Center and recover they come here to look for jobs , it is a good partnership in Escondido. The need is the same in Oceanside and there is a Career Center in Oceanside that they can use to move on to find work and move on with their life.
thanks,
Jean Nelson

Samantha Betanzos | North County requires substance abuse centers for our famililes. Treat the addiction and allow the family to prosper!
Marjorie Moorhead | I am 89 years old, my daughter drank alcoholically for 25 years and becasuse of a recovery home similar to the one proposed in Oceanside she now has 16 years of sobriety. At the time she got sober she had been an Oceanside resident for 18 years and luckily, Escondido offered the services she desparately needed. Unfortunately my son was not so lucky. I found him upstairs in my home the day before his 52nd birthday. He had literally drank himself to death. Please support this desparately needed program.
Mark York | I whole heartedly support The Fellowship Center's effort to place men's residential treatment program in Oceanside.
Anonymous | I have seen the many miracles the Fellowship center has produced in giving so many men a chance to rebuild their lives and their families. Oceanside, it is time to step up to the plate!

John Byrom | Ignorance, fear, and politics should not drive sound public policy. The City of Oceanside would be a better place if The Fellowship Center had a facility in the City.
Richard Torres | The Fellowship Center gave me an opportunity to begin a new life free from drugs, beginning in 1982. I would have never been able to have done this by myself. The staff were very helpful, and it was good to know that a Recovery Home in the North County was available to someone like myself that had no hope of recovery. A Recovery Home in Oceanside will help to expand the needed services of San Diego's North Coastal County
Jodi Gomez | I have been clean and sober since 10-10-97 i completely, believe in recovery homes i went to one for 2.5 years

Laurie Chapman | I strongly support the Fellowship Center and the work they are doing to keep addicts in a safe place to get them clean and sober and off the streets.
Anonymous | Fear comes from the unknown, recovery homes are needed and The Fellowship Center is a great recovery home, they do good work in Escondido and could do the same for Oceanside, sometimes a person just need a chance to change.

Shirley Meyer | The coastal area of North County desperately needs a facility as successful in helping the recovering alcoholic/addict as the Fellowship Center in Escondido
Shirley Meyer | I think we need more drug and alcohol programs. It is better to get them treatment than to have them doing roaming in our neighborhoods
Anonymous | The Fellowship Center has helped many men to recover from Alcoholism and Drug addiction and to reunite families. I think it would benefit The City of Oceanside to have The Fellowship Center as a member of the community.

Lorene Ibbetson | I have worked with Fellowship Center and I feel they are an excellent resource for the Coastal Area. This program helps our fellow community members get back on their feet and become productive citizens.
Sonya Holder | I am a Health Educator and I go into 7 treatment center here in the North County and teach on Prevention of HIV/Aids I also offer other clinic services.
Erica Leary | The Fellowship Center is a well-established and respected organization providing a valuable service to help people struggling with alcohol and drug dependence.
Frank Grangetto | Even though it would be easy to remain silent and not speak up, in this case I could not. In the last 16 years I have witnessed many fine examples of The Fellowship Center. I know it as a place that men can go to turn their lives around. Although I have never lived there, I have many fine friends that have been through the center and have maintained many years of abstinence from alcohol. I have been a real estate agent broker for the last 14 years. Much of my business is in Oceanside. It is my opinion the existence if this facility will enhance the community it is in. Practicing alcohol and drug addicts are a drain on our society. Men who’s lives redirected are changed can forever be assets. I know that this is a fearful proposition for some people, what I would ask is that you check this organization with an open mind. Please feel free to contact me about this matter.
