| 1951 | Anonymous | Finally, justice has been delivered...hopefully these fine young men can move on with their lives! |
| 1952 | Cat Bolivar | I am so relieved for you, and your family, that the truth has finally been exposed and you have been declared innocent. Although I feel it is honorable of you to not press any criminao charges against that liar, Crystal Magnum, I think it is important to make an example out of her and set a precedent for future situations. Our society needs to send a clear, loud message to women like her that this type if behavior will NOT be tolerated and is punishable by law. God Bless you and your family. |
| 1953 | Anonymous | For now, I'll be anonymous. However, my family and I have been going through the same hell for one year, with not one shred of guilt on our part or one scrap of evidence on the accuser's part. The emotional, physical and financial stress are unbelievable. One parent said he found it hard to forgive. Believe me, we understand. DHU |

| 1957 | Tim Gambla | Reade, Thanks for teaching me how to play lacrosse. All the Delbarton guys knew you were innocent. Good luck at Brown. |

| 1959 | Anonymous | I know people that personally know this family. Nifong is "white trash" that should be thrown in jail...so much for upholding the law. Nifong's cocky attitude during Reade's testimony just shows the classic signs of a narcissist! I hope he ends up in a trailor next to sewer plant! |
| 1960 | Mike Hoffman | I am watching Reade on FOX News now...he is an extremely articulate, forthright, eloquent young man. He serves as an example to all of us as to how to hold our heads up while facing adversity and wrongful accusations....this young man, as well as the other young men involved in thsi travesty of justice will certainly be very succesful in life....GOD BLESS ALL OF THEM! |
| 1961 | Shirley | My prayers for the three young men and their families going through this horrible ordeal have been answered!! Truth (long in coming) has prevailed! |
| 1962 | Col (Ret) Ed Klaput | To the parents of Reade:
You have withstood a terrible storm of wrongful allegations resulting in deep hurt and pain to you and your family. It would be an honor to one day meet all of you, look you in the eye, and say "I and American believes you". God Speed. |

| 1964 | Gary A. Bowers | I want an address where I can send my financial contribution to this young man's legal defense fund. Please email me an address where I can send this young man my contribution. I watched this young man on television this morning (June 15) and I am very moved by this young man's honesty and decency. This has been a terrible tragedy and I only hope that this young man can move on with his life. I wish him all of the success in the world. |
| 1965 | Anonymous | I am so sorry this happened to you and your families. Most North Carolinians believed you all were innocent. |
| 1966 | Michelle Montejo | |
| 1967 | Susan Bowers | I am so sorry that you were robbed of this valuable time of your life. Stay strong--things will turn out fine! |
| 1968 | Gary A. Bowers | I affixed my name to this petition earlier this morning before I went to my office. Reade, after going to my office this morning I have tried to find a means of communicating directly with you directly. I have been practicing Law for 27 years and I can tell you that I am so embarrassed that the legal system, ie. Nifong, has torn your life apart when you are so obviously innocent. Since I may never have the privilege of communicating with you directly and I can only hope that you have the opportunity to read this, I want to tell you two things: (1) I want to contribute to your legal defense expenses (2) I want to tell you how I am so struck by how honest, genuine and sincere of a young man that you are. I heard you respond to one of the questions posed to you this morning that you were contemplating going to law school. I believe that you would make an outstanding lawyer and that you would be a credit to our profession. If you have any interest in practicing law in Louisiana, you should give me a call. I would hire you in a second. I wish you and your family the best of luck. |
| 1969 | Anonymous | Reade, you and your family are in my prayers.
Stay strong and keep following your dreams.
Thank you for your honesty and integrity. |
| 1970 | Jill Proctor | READE IS INNOCENT!
NIFONG BROKE THE LAW!
THIS DA NEEDS TO BE CHARGED |
| 1971 | Patricia Stahler | Ex-Prosecutor Nifong's tearful apologies are a pittance compared to the pain and suffering he has caused Mr. Seligmann and his family. My heart goes out to them. Pulling Mr. Nifongs license to practice law is a fraction of what he deserves. In my opinion the man needs to sit in a jail cell for a while to ponder the pain he has caused. |
| 1972 | Carolyn | Reade: You have just experienced a snap-shot of the race/class warfare in this nation which fills our prisons with, conservative scholarly estimates conclude, 10% innocent people. But for status and money, you would dwell among them. Bless you and please never forget those people. |
| 1973 | Carolyn | Post Script: Reade: There are presently approximately 2.3 Million persons incarcerated in this nation; more (numerically and not per capita) than any other country in the world. The 10% innocent would equal 230,000 innocent people. Please do take up a career in law and try to do something about this. |
| 1974 | Ginni Cummings | Reade, I am so happy for you and your family!
I am so deply sorry for what you have had to endure, and having two sons close to your age, I was moved to tears listening to your testimony. You are a kind and decent young man, and as you now move forward to pursue all your dreams, we are all behind you. I know that God has great plans for you and may he abundantly bless you and your family. |
| 1975 | Paul Spielman | Hang this Ni-fuck A-hole high. Dis-bar and Prosecute the so-called prosecutor! |
| 1976 | Steve Bird | Reade, I want you to know that I along others felt you were innocent from the very beginning. I have a nephew who was convicted of a crime he did not comit and was sent to prison for 6 years. It has ruined his life and distroyed his mother. I'm glade that justice prevailed for you and your family, but for some it just does not happen. Good luck to you and your family. Steve |
| 1977 | Alvina & Jim Balog | Congratulations to a fine young man. You will do well in whatever career you choose in spite of those Duke "hooligans". We were with you all the way. Loved the way you held head and shoulders high for the media throughout this ordeal. Alvina alog |

| 1979 | Anonymous | I watched the testimony of Reade and was very impressed with him. It is unbelievable that this happened in this country. I have to say that as a mother of 3 young sons, I am horrified that this can happen. I only hope that he can get somehow get his life back to normal and that everyone will allow him to get on with being a normal young man. Although I suspect that his ability to just be a normal young man is forever gone. I hope that Nifong pays dearly for what he has done so that no more innocent young men ever have to be put through this type of ordeal again. |

| 1981 | Anonymous | It must be a bittersweet triumph that you were finally exonerated when the system so clearly abused you. About 20 years ago I was falsely accused of rape while in college by a woman that turns out was easier to pick an innocent group of four people and claim gang rape and devil worshiping than admit that she got knocked up by some guy. Prior to that I was naive to what sometimes happens in our culture when we find metaphorical Salem witches to try. It also made me go from an attitude of where a woman who claims rape should be consoled and given full attention for a horrible event...to one that I second-guess their claims. Women who falsely claim rape hurt those that have been raped horribly. Good luck Reade.....and keep a file of everthing in case 20 years you apply for a clearance, run for office, or somebody Google you and forgets your exoneration. |
| 1982 | Anonymous | My son was arrested on a drug charge last year. The drugs belonged to the driver of the car which was stopped and the drugs were found under the rug. The prosecutor told us that she would prosecute my son also because he had access even though he didn't know it was in the car. She said she would bring the charges because "she could win." She advised us to plead no contest so that she could count it as a win. At the last minute she reconsidered and did not bring the charges. I really think that part of the reason she reconsidered was the fallout in your case. (The driver of the vehicle had admitted the stuff was his, but since he pled no contest, it wasn't stated in court.) My point is that I believe that your case is far from isolated. When prosecutors think that cases are a game to be won or lost, that's where the problem is. I'm so sorry for what you guys went through. I really want some good to come of this, by exposing this problem in our judicial system. I have cheered with you all these last few days when the prosecutor whose name shall not be mentioned got his just due. |

| 1984 | Kevin Hunt | Reade, I don't know you, but want to add my name in support of you. I have watched your case with horror and have felt that you have been the brunt of great injustice. I have been pulling for you and am very pleased that you have been found not guilty. This is good news. I hope that you will be able to put this whole mess behind you and go forward and upward to achieve all that God would have you do as His son. You have great potential and I know that you have great things to accomplish. Best wishes to you. Kevin Hunt - Mesa, Arizona |
| 1985 | Anonymous | Reade, congratulations on your victory, although it is bittersweet I'm sure. Perhaps now that Nifong is faced with REAL charges against him, and he is now contemplating going to jail, he'll change his arrogant opinion that "something happened in that bathroom". Perhaps but I doubt it. The only way this arrogant Dingdong will ever change his tune is by spending countless hours in a tiny room in the big-house, sitting right next to a toilet, which is where this prick should wind up. I hope his life is ruined, and I will derive great joy in seeing how HIS life has been destroyed for now and years to come, while yours flourishes. |
| 1986 | Brittany McGuckin | your amazing! all 3 of you are, you handled this injustice with class all the way till the end! the good guys won :) i reading the several books out too there wonderful! good luck with everything :)

| 1987 | Anonymous | I am an attorney in Texas, working a lot in the criminal defense area, and always thought you and the two other young men were innocent of all charges. I am pleased you and the other two men have been exonerated. I wish you and them the best in life and know you can still achieve all of your dreams in life. God bless and I will be praying for y'all. |
| 1988 | Defend my boy in North Carolina | Our boy is going through the same Hell of false charges of rape in the state of North Carolina. No attempts by the DA to collect facts, truth or depositions. He has a public attorney who has not attempted to clear his name or deposition the witnesses who can prove the lie by the party girls who he rejected. We need an attorney who will step up in this state to defend a then 19 year old falsely charged boy. The destruction of this boy's life and name is still in process. He is being crucified by both DA and defense atty. The top govt officials turn their back to pleas to investigate unethical DA processes. They don't want truth. We need another attorney. I have all the reports and documents. I will raise up a national organization to stand with falsely accused boys of this status. Maybe we can all sue the state together.
Defense attorneys contact me. Reade Seligman's attorney please contact me. A life is at stake.
