| 1520 | jim | The fact that a morally corrupt and self loathing creature such as the accuser can drag a person like Reade, who of such high quality and superior moral fabric into the septic tank where she resides, is repugnant on many levels indeed. Unfortunately, when good, upstanding civic minded humans interact with the bottom feeding slime that reside under the local sewage oozings, this is the kind of corrupt and convoluted direction the legal system takes. Nifong will see in the future that he will ultimately be the one answering on judgement day, and that he will be the first pawn to fall. At least the boys have the future, while Nifong will be relegated to the caudal position of the legal matrix as his carreer spirals into the abyss. Shame, guilt, revenge, etc will be left for the accuser and Nifong, while Reade and the other boys will remain strong, focused, and forge ahead and conquer the challenges that they confront as the ashes of this travesty dissolve along with Nifongs career path. |
