I am totally for these websites chats etc.. There are AA meetings so why is it not okay for these us women to discuss our issues? It just really frustrates me that they are closing them down. These sites help people suffering from ed's know that they're not alone. eating disorders are not about eating. for me, they are about lack of control, lonliness, feeling not accepted, and pressure to conform. these people who make pro ana/mia sites understand. i find comfort and hope in these sites from knowing that i dont suffer alone. many other girls do too. we come looking for these sites-we will find them no matter how many you try to shut down. as long as there are sufferers, we will be heard. |
