Michael Kelly | Keep the Sonics where they belong, Seattle!
Anonymous | Keep the Sonics in Seattle because Seattle Needs an NBA team and Seattle needs a new arena even though i been to Seattle, but I don't live there. So Mr. Bennett, build a New arena in Seattle and keep the Sonics where they are!!!
John hammond | you already moved the grizzlies. now where else are ppl from bc gonna see games
Steven | I am infuriated. As a Portland Trail Blazers fan, I do NOT want to see the Sonics leave Seattle whatsoever. We need them, and I personally have taken a small liking to them..until it's gametime.

Wayne Coons | The city got screwed. Clay asked for help that he knew was not going to get approved just so he could show that his intention was not to move the team to oklahoma city. The sonics have been a part of seattle for a long time and he should be legally forced to sell since he bought the team planning to move it to oklahoma city the whole time he should be forced to sell the team and booed out of the city .
Anonymous | Howard Shultz started this mess -- lets boot him out if the Sonics move - what a tard.
Brandon Swain | The city of Seattle has been loyal to the NBA for over 41 years. They deserve the right to have through 2010 (their contract) to approve a new arena. Furthermore, they city deserves an owner who has interest and dedication to Seattle and not to another city. Why would the current owner stay in Seattle when he has no interest? A man who shows dedication to the city would have a better chance of getting a stadium approved.
Zach Wilcox |
John Muirhead | Seattle deserves to keep this team... more than OK city does to acquire it. David Stern is a pansy and Clay Bennett is a rat.
Kevin | There are far better options for teams that could move, teams that get less support from their fan base, teams that are less lucrative. I hope they lose the team back to the previous owner for their lack of "good faith effort" to make it work in Seattle.

Lori Wood | Please save our Sonics, we love them!
Rachel Smith | Please.
Vernon V Sherman | Stern's gotta go, not the Sonics!
Matt Stofsky | KEEP THEM HERE
Thierry | I'm a deep fan since 90's, I'm French, it was a tragedy if the sonics move to Oklahoma ! Go Sonics
Arjun Mehta | Stern + Bennet = SHADY...not good for the nba
Jason | It's a shame to see a sports institution like the Supes move out of Seattle. This seems to be a comedy of errors, but it is clear there was never any intention on the part of the new ownership to keep the Sonics here. Apparently, these guys business philosophy is to achieve their goals regardless of the means. I would guess this is their business philosophy in all of their ventures.

Tyler Heiney | I am not from Seattle nor am I a fan of the Sonics but being a fan of basketball I know what its like to have loyality towards a team. I also know how much this would hurt not only the great citizens of Seattle but the entire population of Washington. So please Mr. Bennett look deeply in that cold money driven heart of yours and reconsider moving this greatly loved franchise.
Anonymous | Fuck Olkahoma no one is there and you are moving from one of the bigest markets in america to one of the smallest why and the hell would the NBA want to move to a poor town where people cant even afford basketball tickets and most likely dont know anything about basketball in the first place
Anonymous | keep the sonics in seattle. it is part of history. oklahoma city is a small market town.
Warren Clark |
| 327 | michael donnelly | please god let my beloved sonics STAY in Seattle where they belong,,don't let the almighty dollar rule everything.
SONICS MUST STAY |
Tom Ryan | I am a lifelong Knicks fan, but the situation, especially following the revelation of the e-mails, is completely unacceptable. The NBA needs to remember those of us paying for their corporations to advertise an d who has to pay for the main portion of tickets. Fuck you David Stern
Anonymous | I can't imagine Sonics leaving Seattle.

Matt Zapel |
Victor Thomas | keep the sonics in seattle, a perfect fit
Mark Shelton | Please keep the Sonics in Seattle. They would have never sold the team to someone who they thought would move the team to another city.

Anonymous | Oh man since the Vancouver Grizzlies have moved to Memphis, I've really been overwhelmed with sad emotions. Now that I hear the Seattle Supersonics are going to move to Oklahoma City, that would even bring even more terrible news to the Northwest. Since there has always been a huge fan base throughout the state of Washington, it has started to effect the citizens of British Columbia in upper Canada. Basically, I am a CANADIAN FAN who LOVES THE SEATTLE SUPERSONICS and I really think in my opinion that the NBA Personal Office(specifically *DAVID STERN*)does not realize how much this team means to all the citizens of the city, Seattle for they are close to their hearts. THE SONICS DESERVE TO STAY BECAUSE THEY HAVE PROVEN THEMSELVES AS HAVING A SOLID FRANCHISE HISTORY SINCE WINNING AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP(WHICH IS REALLY DIFFICULT); JUST GIVE THEM MORE TIME!

matt c | keep them in seattle...keep the faith fans...it will happen. stand behind the glove! I am a pens fan and mario saved our team 3 times. It can be done!
Nicholas Schlichting | keep the sonics in seattle! they've been there for over 40 years already, why ruin a rich following and tradition of basketball in the emerald city?
Adam Chevalier |
Alex D | Who's the king of the Westside?! SUPERSONICS!
Keith Weatherford | Bennett lied, emails to prove he intended to move all along. Stern knew this all along too, we need a new commisioner. If this can happen to a team of 41 years, that means it can happen to any of our teams. Washington DC supports the Sonics, keep the faith and fight them every step of the way.
Mahmoud Sourakli | Clay Bennett is a liar, and the fact that David Stern, the mayor of Oklahoma City and Clay Bennett are all friends seems like a major conflict of interest seeing that they all want to move our team.
Daniel Folsom | I can't believe the Sonics are leaving; Seattle is where the Sonics belong, they're a historic team, and moving them to Oklahoma City (of all places) is a disservice to the city of Seattle, the NBA's history and true basketball fans.
