Stop Hackettstown's attempt to ban tattoo parlors

The petition

Hackettstown and especially its mayor, Michael Lavery are mounting a witch hunt to prohibit local businesses which they feel are contributing to a negative aspect of Hackettstown. As of yet those negative aspects have not been defined by Mr. Lavery nor has any evidence of such contribution of said businesses been brought to light. These businesses include Tattoo Parlors, which the one existing Parlor, First Place Tattoos, has never had a legal incident or police call in the eleven years of service.

This petition is put forth with the purpose of illustrating the support tattoo parlors have acquired, that the public opinion of tattoo parlors has changed and the archaic viewpoint of certain town officials is out of date. We need to demonstrate to these individuals that tattooing has moved into the mainstream of society and people from every gender and age are currently enjoying the art of tattooing.
