Citizens against the urbanization of Beaver Lake

Investors and developers from the state of New York have proposed to build massive high-rise condominiums along the shores of Beaver Lake.

We the undersigned are strongly opposed to these condominiums.

We are very concerned about the health and safety issues that will exist when a large number of people are concentrated in such a small area. We are concerned with the impact to our infrastructure, watershed (water quality), fire and police protection, and traffic congestion. Additionaly, we believe that these massive structures do not fit in with the single-family homes that currently exist in this area.

We are asking Benton County Officials to deny the construction requests for condominiums and massive structures along the shores of Beaver Lake until such time we have zoning and watershed ordinances in place to protect the lake.
